Track Record

- 1989: I graduated with an Honor's degree in Electrical Engineering from National University of Singapore, the country's premier college.
- Before graduation, I was offered jobs by International Business Machines (IBM) and Hewlett Packard (HP); I chose HP.
- 1989-1991: A highlight at HP was when I won a multi-million dollar contract (3000 node network infrastructure), winning over a key client from Digital Equipment Corp (our competitor).
- 1991-1999: Left HP to start a computer networking firm, and grew it from 2 to 20 employees.
- 1999: Moved from Singapore to Fort Collins, Colorado.
- 1999-2005: Co-ran a successful ministry (International Students, Inc), substantially growing the student base and breath of outreach activities, with many salvation stories, and many lives touched.
- 2005: Transitioned from ministry to the financial industry in October.
- 2006: I was the top new producer in Colorado with New York Life. Gained $1.2M in Asset under Management (AUM).
- 2007: Went independent. Asset Inflow grew 70%. Gained $2M in new AUM.
- 2008: Formed Financial Stewards LLC. Asset Inflow grew 57%. Gained $3.2M in new AUM.
- 2009: Asset inflow grew 84%. Gained $6M in new AUM.
- 2010: Asset inflow was 74% of 2009. Gained $4.4M in new AUM.
- 2011: Upgraded Financial Stewards LLC to RIA status (Registered Investment Advisor). Asset inflow grew 273% - gained $12M in new AUM. Launched Family Wealth Counseling / Zero Estate Tax Planning for high and ultra high networth families.
I regard my work as a Financial Advisor and Wealth Manager as more than just a job. It is a privilege and calling to be involved in such an important aspect of people's lives, and I strive to provide guidance and the right perspective into managing earthly wealth.
